Driving in Eastern Washington

yakima.jpgYesterday, I went for a drive in Eastern Washington — through Ellensburg and down along the river.

I visited the campus of Central Washington University with my friend David.

I could imagine teaching at a university like that one — and having a simpler, less hectic life in a small town like Ellensburg.

The farmland was a dramatic contrast to the pale yellow hills.

Again, the natural beauty of the world astounds me. Why will I never cease being amazed by landscapes like these?
